Garden Consultations

Garden consultancy can be a one-off visit or a series of visits depending on your needs and the size of garden. Perhaps you already enjoy your garden but would like to change the layout, make it more wildlife friendly, more colourful, have more interest all year round or get it ready for a special occasion? Or maybe you have moved house and don't know where to start with your new garden. Sometimes an impartial opinion is all that's needed to give you new ideas and a fresh take on things to get you started.

A consultation can help you with

  • Planting ideas
  • How to "make-over" a border or area of the garden
  • How to breathe new life into an old, established garden
  • What plants are best suited to your soil, aspect, area and conditions

A garden consultation usually takes upwards of two hours, depending on the garden size, planting density and design complexity.

A written report with recommendations, brief sketches and any decided plans of action is provided after the visit. A short list of plants (up to 30) can be provided as part of the report. A more detailed planting list or planting plan would be at extra cost. (Planting Plans, Planting lists & Buying Plants)

If you are looking for work to be carried out perhaps Garden Coaching or Garden Development & Maintenance would be of better service to you.

Pricing

The initial garden consultation fee is £300, including the report.
